I thot my daughter just wasn't reading books b/c she prefers to rot her brain on video. Turns out she avoids them for the same reason I have successfully avoided opiates. She does nothing but read the entire book until it ends. This takes from 4 to 8 hours. At least she takes bathroom breaks. Who knew the downside of raising a reader? -2015

today at Berkeley Bowl [where berkeley folks go to buy the specialised food they eat], checker asks customers about the value of the "black water" the customer is buying. sure enough, the bottle says "blk" on the outside and contains a very dark liquid. checker [my favourite checker, Joanna] says she doesn't like the flavour of regular water.
