esp to all my motorcycle friendsies

 typing one-handed.

differing perspectives on an m/c crash

standing there by the side of the road after being rear-ended, instantly reduced to a stumble-bum. torn aerostich, missing a glove, one arm hanging useless:[ interlude: medieval epitaph:"now i am a poor caitiff"]

as a motorcyclist, i am thinking, this is part of the deal. crash, try to get up, do what's next. also: breathe! try to relax, do your job as new patient well.

seen from outside, though, it looks scarier. about as scary as when you hear that awful plastic new-car crunch. all the folks at home and were like really freaked out. viewing it from their perspective, if i were hospitalised for 2 nights creamed by a caddy crossing, say, california street, yeah: that's anomalous, awful, cause for concern.

that's all: just 2 perspectives.
